Psychology Today recently reported on hypnosis and chances of concieving through in vitro fertilization.  The study found that women that underwent hypnosis prior to the procedure were twice as likely to become pregnant.  It is theorized that hypnosis can help fight stress and relax the uterus so that it may accept the embryo.

Stress can be the main factor in an inability to concieve.

According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, approximately 6 million American couples have fertility problems.  5% of those choose In Vitro Fertilization.  There are many factors that can affect fertility.  Once all health factors have been ruled out, stress may be the main reason a couple is having no sucess with conception.

Some women experience irregular menstrual cycles.  With weight loss or gain, depending on the situation, many women find that their bodies will self-regulate.  Hypnosis can help relieve stress and use their minds to create a better physical and mental environment for conception.

I recently attended the HypnoFertility Certification course at the annual HypnoBirthing conclave in Austin.  I learned more techniques to help people concieve the natural way!
